Clinical Research Associates is coordinating a clinical study for a protein-based COVID-19 vaccine, or what is commonly known as a traditional COVID-19 vaccine, and we are seeking help from our community to help study the investigational medicine. Below are details about the study, and information about how to help.
COVID-19 is an infectious disease that affects different people in different ways. Researchers continue to explore possible vaccines against the virus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19 in children.
Our study is evaluating an investigational vaccine that is designed to prevent COVID-19. The study vaccine is a protein-based vaccine (or a traditional COVID-19 vaccine) and is not an mRNA vaccine. NVX-CoV2373 has been authorized in various countries for adolescents and adults 12 years of age and older. Now, researchers are evaluating it for children ages 6 months to 11 years.

To be eligible for this study, your child must:
- Be 6 months to 11 years of age
- Not have received a previous vaccine to protect against COVID-19
This is not a complete list of eligibility criteria. Our medical team will review the full entry criteria for this study with potential participants and their parents or guardians.
This study will last for approximately 26 months, and your child will have at least 8 study site visits
and at least 3 scheduled phone calls during this period. Study transportation may be provided (based
on availability), and participants will be compensated for time and study-related travel.
