Diabetic Continuous Glucose Monitoring Study

If you are a type I or Type II diabetic, you may be eligible to participate in a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) study. The study is NOT intended to change your Diabetes treatment.  It is seeking to continue the development of an experimental CGM system.  You will be asked to wear a CGM for about 17 days with frequent self- glucose monitoring (supplies provided). The results of the CGM will later be compared to your self- glucose monitoring. There are 4 planned office visits and a follow phone call.

  1. Four office visits total
  2. Two office visits requiring over 4 hours
  3. Frequent self-glucose monitoring throughout the duration of the study
  1. Diabetic Type I or II
  2. Age 18 and older
  3. Willing and able to comply with visits and procedures
  4. No serious unstable diabetic complications
  5. Must be able to recognize symptoms of low glucose
